Sunlight, Fog and Redwoods Trail….

One of our clients was looking through Byron’s images for a project they were working on and they really liked it so I thought that I would share it here. #redwoods #interiordesign #decor

By stripping away the familiar characteristics of color, black and white photography of nature reveals something new. It highlights a different aspect of the relationships between shapes, form, contrast and composition in the natural world.

I arrived along the river at sunrise and spent the entire day wandering along its edge making images. As so often happens it was almost dark before I began the hike back. I hadn’t gone very far when I saw these boulders reflecting in the water.  I paused to create this image and “reflect” upon the day with them.
