I was struck by the patterns that the shadows and rock formations created in the morning here. This is one of several abstracts I created that morning.

I think it is only natural as an artist to evolve. In the past couple of years patterns have become a deep source of inspiration whenever I go into nature to photograph. Discovering, isolating, composing and photographing these abstract patterns is exciting and fulfilling……
