Abstract nature images have been a large part of my fine art photographic work for quite some time. This abstract seascape entitled Ocean Tones was mentioned in a blog post on Erinn•V•Style.
Erinn Valencich is a world class designer who has appeared on many television programs including the View and HGTV.
You can read her comments about the image here: http://bit.ly/xkXzy8. Erinn’s showroom in California is exquisite and we are honored to be a part of it. Below is a photograph of the image framed and hanging in the showroom.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in 2012
As 2011 comes to a close, we are reminded of all we are grateful for - especially our relationship with you. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you, and for the many effusive compliments about Byron’s work. We wish you a happy holiday season and much success in the new year!
Here are some of the photographic results of hiking 1240 feet down into a ravine and back up and out over a distance of 8 miles.

Here is the photographic result of taking a wrong turn in the middle of the night and falling down a short (7ft) flight of stairs the next night.

One concussion, 8 stitches, a few CAT scans, EEGs and some x-rays later …. I’m back out into the wilderness where it is safer!

I recently returned from MIchigan, and I wanted to share a few images from this remarkable area. I was struck by the variety of subjects that I found. Texture and color blend together in Michigan to create a remarkable and inspiring canvas! View a few images from the trip click HERE

Pardon my absence. I just came back from the first leg of my fall photography trips. This year I started in Colorado. The colors were outstanding! In addition to getting some new images for my fine art nature photography library collection, I discovered even more places to return to later. I have posted a small collection of images from the shoot HERE. These images will soon be available on the web site for purchase. Stay tuned in coming weeks for images from West Virginia, Michigan and more.

Only a few days left. If you haven’t gotten the opportunity to check out Missing Nature at the Parthenon in downtown Nashville’s Centennial park make plans to stop by. The show features more than 20 prints some of which are 6 foot canvas pieces. The show ends on September the 10th. The response to the show has been amazing. Our thanks goes out to you all. We have received so many wonderful reviews in the media, and countless warm comments and emails. We are very grateful for each one.
